Background
When we came to Harvard, we switched from the lab-paid Slack workspace to Harvard grid - corporate version of Slack. The transition involved certain problems because for most of the lab, IT's bot wasn't able to find their Harvard emails and made everyone a guest. Then, when people tried to access Slack using their Harvard credentials, they couldn't access the workspace but still ended up with now two accounts. It was a bit of a mess. While making sure that we haven't lost any information due to these issues, we found out that the archived channels and DMs with previous members weren't easy to find. Fortunately, Lilli figured out how to search for them - see the instructions above. Zhenya's assumption is that the transfer didn't affect how the search worked, it just made us look.
