When In Filemaker, these are the age ranges to search: (earlier than the target age to account for the longer time to get materials, read book, and set date)

Re-Recruiting 14 and 18 months who previously aged out
Follow-up via email on the potential PBS 22s who aged out (under category PBS and then look for “no longer”, “sorry” and double check in filemaker that only note is an age out
Mailing Out Packets
Offer to send book materials by mail to interested parties
Mail out within the week- bubble mailer via USPS priority 2-3 day ground
Should be local so it have priority for 2 days
Follow-up with parent when they receive materials with a zoom call or phone call to set up the book (5 mins: explain consent form in more detail, instructions on the materials in the packet, reminder about the 2nd appointment )
Send out reminder email
Send out a reminder email or call 1 day before reading should start. Parents have requested for this and this should help with also getting people in for the second appointment
For surveys schedule send a reminder email to check if parent completed surveys

Hello [PARENT],
I am emailing you from the Bergelson Lab at Harvard because your child [Child Name] may be eligible for one of our studies.
The Bergelson Lab studies language acquisition, and during this study your child would sit on your lap and be shown some pictures or videos and hear some sounds. This study is in two parts, where we will first ask you to read a picture book to your child for 2 weeks, followed by an in-person eye tracking study at our lab at Harvard.
If you are interested, please reply to this email letting us know, and feel free to ask any questions you might have about this study or about our COVID-related precautions. We will ask you a few questions to confirm your child's eligibility and then send you a calendar link where you can schedule a time that works for you!
If you are not interested and would prefer to not be contacted about our studies, or would prefer to only be contacted about online studies, please reply back and let us know!
