Ancient: Connecting to Duke pn-opus and psych
Connect to psych and pn-opus secure drives
Open Finder and press ⌘+k
In the "Connect to Server" window that appears, type the following in the Server Address field (it may already be entered):
smb://win.duke.edu/trinity/psychClick Connect
Enter login information:
username: your Duke netID
password: your Duke Password
(on shared machines) Make sure "Remember this password in my keychain" is unchecked
Open Computer/ThisPC
Windows 7: Click the Start button, then click Computer.
Windows 10: Click ThisPC (there's a shortcut on the lab machine)
Click "Map Network Drive" near the top of the window
For the drive, select drive Y:
For the Folder, type or find the following address (it may already be entered):
\\win.duke.edu\trinity\psychBe sure "Reconnect at login" is unchecked and "Connect using different credentials" is checked
Enter login information:
username: win.duke.edu\[NetID]
password: your NetID password
Open Finder and press Command + K.
In the "Connect to Server" window that appears, type the following in the Server Address field (it may already be entered):
smb://secure-nas-tel11.oit.duke.edu/pn-opusClick Connect.
Enter login information:
username: Duke netID
password: Duke password
(on shared equipment) Make sure "Remember this password in my keychain" is unchecked.
Open Computer/ThisPC
Windows 7: Click the Start button, then click Computer.
Windows 10: Click ThisPC (there's a shortcut on the lab machine)
Click "Map Network Drive" near the top of the window.
For the drive, select drive Z:
For the folder, type the following:
\\secure-nas-tel11.oit.duke.edu\pn-opusBe sure "Reconnect at login" is unchecked and "Connect using different credentials" is checked.
You should be prompted to enter login information:
username: win.duke.edu\[NetID]
password: your NetID password
