Importing New Demographics Surveys

• Log into Qualtrics!

• Navigate to the appropriate survey under My Projects: VI Intake, HI CDI/Eyetracking Intake, or TD Intake

• Under the Data and Analysis tab, select Export Data

• Download as a .csv

• Connect to Blab share!

• Open the downloaded file and the appropriate qualtrics_raw.csv

• Enter the VIHI_ID into the first column of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv

• Take columns R-CA of the downloaded file (for any new administrations), and paste into columns B-BL of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv

• Save XX_qualtrics_raw.csv and close the downloaded file.

• Open the appropriate qualtrics.csv

In the XX_qualtrics.csv:

• Enter the VIHI_ID in the VIHI_ID column

• In the ChildAge column, enter just the Age in Days (last three-four characters of VIHI_ID)

• In the Sex column, enter M or F for male or female

• In the BirthWeight column, enter the birth weight (column E in XX_qualtrics_raw.csv) rounded to the nearest tenth pound

• Enter columns F-H of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns E-G ofXX_qualtrics.csv

• Enter columns L-Q of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns H-M ofXX_qualtrics.csv

• Enter columns S-Y of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns N-T ofXX_qualtrics.csv

• Enter columns AA-AB of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns U-V ofXX_qualtrics.csv

• Enter columns AD-AE of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns W-X ofXX_qualtrics.csv

• Enter columns AG-AH of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns Y-Z ofXX_qualtrics.csv

• Use sibling DOBs from columns AJ-AP of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv to figure out the number of older/younger siblings. Enter these values into columns AA-AB of XX_qualtrics.csv

• Enter columns AQ-AV of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns AC-AH ofXX_qualtrics.csv

• Enter columns AZ-BB of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns AI-AK ofXX_qualtrics.csv

• Enter columns BF-BL of XX_qualtrics_raw.csv into columns AL-AR ofXX_qualtrics.csv
