# ARCHIVE Sampler Hours- Seedlings

## 1. Follow instructions [here](/ra-expectations/new-ra-instructions.md) to get CITI certification

Being familiar with the CITI training modules is important before working with the data!

When you finish, email the transcript/certificate to Lab Manager and let them know in person that you've passed.

## 2. Ask a lab member to log in to the servers

A lab member will log you in to our machine so that you can access data on the servers.

Sampler hours RAs are NOT yet given access to the secure data. NO passwords are given out at this time.

## 3. Read [Annotation Introduction](/data-pipeline/annotation-introduction.md) and follow instructions to watch some of a video and listen to some of an audio. Take notes about any questions you have.

Note that there are tabs across the top of the page--each one has more information. You should read all of it! Touch base with the Lab Manager when you've finished watching and then again when you've finished listening to go over your questions. Try to have at least one question to ask!

## 4. Next, start the [Masked Video Tutorial](/data-pipeline/annotation-introduction/video-tutorial.md).

Again, check in with the Lab Manager when you've finished, or when you're about to run out of time. When you only have 45 minutes left in your Sampler Hours time, you should follow the instructions to export whatever you've gotten through so that you can check it.

As you can tell, there are more tutorials, but for the sake of "sampler hours" we are only doing the masked video tutorial for now.

## 5. After your Sampler Hours end, fill out the Sampler Hours survey

Informal survey
