Audio Importing

How to import audio files from LENA recorders.

LENA Pro software is on Lily.

First Steps

1. Plug in LENA recorder with the proper USB cable

2. Open the LENA Pro software from the Desktop (elephant icon)

1. An initial screen will pop up, requesting permission

2. Select OK

3. You will then be asked to choose the corresponding subject number to the recorder you are importing

4. Select the correct subject number (the month is automatically calculated by the LENAPro software) so no need to worry about that!

5. You will be prompted to select the time zone: it should already be set as (which zone) which is the one we will be using

6. The device will wipe itself of all data after importing is complete

Charging

1. The LENA device will automatically begin charging (visibly indicated on the device's screen) after it has completed its import

2. You may leave it plugged in to finish charging

   • NOTE: If you are importing more than one audio at a time; please DO NOT leave them both plugged in to the computer

3. After the first device has concluded its import, move it to a separate wall charger and finish the charging there
