Concept Learning with Abstract/Auditory Stimuli

How do infants learn concrete concepts that have sensory properties (e.g. things like mountains, stars, or atoms) with minimal to no perceptual input. We attempt to answer this question in stages, by first asking whether infants learn and recognize concepts without relying on visual input.
